Abstract

A sheet conveying device (30) includes a corrector (32) configured to correct a position of a sheet (P), and at least three detectors (35, 36, 37) disposed in a sheet conveyance direction. Each of the at least three detectors (35, 36, 37) is configured to detect a lateral end of the sheet (P) according to a length of the sheet (P) to be conveyed in the sheet conveyance direction. The corrector (32) is configured to correct the position of the sheet (P) based on detection results of the at least three detectors (35, 36, 37).
