Abstract

A valve attachment (1) of a heat exchanger is described, said valve attachment (1) comprising a main part (2) of a housing, valve actuating means arranged in the main part (2) of the housing, control means arranged in the main part (2) of the housing and controlling the valve actuating means, a valve coupling zone and at least one temperature sensor (5). In such a valve attachment a sufficiently precise temperature information of the heat carrying medium in a valve should be obtained. To this end a valve coupling zone is provided with a thermally conducting element (7), wherein at least part of the thermally conducting element forms a valve housing contact area (4), and the temperature sensor (5) or a carrier (6) of the temperature sensor (5) is connected to the thermally conducting element (7).
