Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for initiating a wireless network to be used to connect an electronic device among a set of first type electronic devices with a second type electronic device. The method comprising: receiving, at a service server configured to service the set of first type electronic devices, data pertaining to a user-id; retrieving, from a database, a unique network configuration associated with the user-id, wherein the unique network configuration and the user-id are known beforehand by the second type electronic device; selecting, at the service server, an electronic device among the set of first type electronic devices; and sending, to the selected electronic device, the unique network configuration associated with the user-id for allowing the selected electronic device to initiate a wireless network using the unique network configuration associated with the user-id. Also, a service server configured to manage the initiating of a wireless network to be used to connect an electronic device among a set of first type electronic devices with a second type electronic device is presented.
