Abstract

An optical element (300) includes a base material (200), which consists of resin material, and an antireflection film (100). The antireflection film (100) consists of a first film (111) formed on the base material (200) and a second film (101) formed on the first film (111). The second film (101) consists of a first layer (01), a second layer (02), and a third layer (03), in order from a side closest to the first film (111). The first layer (01) and the third layer (03) each include silicon oxide. The second layer (02) includes magnesium fluoride.
