Abstract

A recording-head position adjustment mechanism (150) adjusts a position of a recording head (10) that discharges liquid droplets. The recording-head position adjustment mechanism (150) includes a supporting member (100) and a discharge angle adjuster (56; 57). The supporting member (100) includes an upper support (21Aa; 21Ba) to support an upper portion of the recording head (10) and a lower support (21Ab; 21Bb) to support a lower portion of the recording head (10). The discharge angle adjuster (56; 57) swings the lower portion around the upper portion as a fulcrum to adjust a discharge direction of the liquid droplets from the recording head (10).
