Abstract
A pulsed oxygen delivery system (100) is disclosed for a closed breathing environment, which includes a source of gaseous oxygen (200), a phase dilution type oronasal dispensing mask (300) worn by a user in a closed breathing environment defined by a pressure suit (10), and a pulse control module (400) for delivering a timed and metered bolus of oxygen from the source of gaseous oxygen to the oronasal dispensing mask upon inhalation by the user.
