Abstract

An X-ray inspection apparatus (1) including: an X-ray irradiation unit (6); a transport unit (5); an X-ray detection unit (7); and an X-ray shielding door (20). An inclined portion (60) that is inclined downward from the one side (left side) toward the other side (right side) in the width direction (Y-direction) when seen in the transport direction (X-direction) in the closed state is formed in at least a part of an inner surface (31) of the X-ray shielding door. In the closed state, a lower end portion (62) of the inclined portion (60) in the vertical direction is located closer to the other side (right side) of the width direction (Y-direction) than a position of an end portion of the transport unit (5) on the one side (left side) of the width direction.
