Abstract

A multilayer expanded bead having a foamed core layer containing an ethylene-propylene random copolymer, and a surface layer containing a polyolefin-based resin and covering the foamed core layer. The ethylene-propylene random copolymer has an ethylene unit content of 1.5% to 3.5% by mass or less, a number average molecular weight (Mn) of 30,000 to 50,000 and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) of 200,000 to 500,000, with a ratio Mw/Mn being 7 to 15.
