Abstract
Provided are a medical image processing system (10) that automatically extracts an index moving image from a moving image obtained by imaging a swallowing examination, minimizes the observation time of swallowing by the moving image, and enables a user to efficiently observe the swallowing and a method for operating the same.A moving image file acquired by a swallowing examination is analyzed to determine whether or not a swallowing timing which is swallowing in a pharyngeal stage. In a case in which the swallowing timing is detected, the extraction, screen display, and automatic playback of an index moving image based on the swallowing timing are performed.
