Abstract
An assembly (64) for a gas turbine engine (20) includes, among other things, an end wall (66) including a main body (68A) extending between a first end portion (68B) and a second end portion (68C) to establish a seal face (68S). The end wall (66) includes a first attachment portion (66AP) dimensioned to fixedly attach the main body (68A) to a static structure (36) at a first attachment point (PI). An airfoil (63) extends radially inwardly from the end wall (66) relative to an assembly axis (LA). The airfoil (63) includes an inner cavity (63D) extending between a first end portion (63B) and a second end portion (63C), the first end portion (63B) adjacent the end wall (66). A spar member (72) includes a spar body (72A) extending between a first end portion (72B) and a second end portion (72C). The spar body (72A) extends at least partially through the inner cavity (63D). The first end portion (68B) of the end wall (66) is cantilevered from the first attachment point (P1).
