Abstract
The present invention relates to a ring electrode for a medical device comprising a monolithic metal tube, wherein the monolithic metal tube has a wall which in one section comprises a contacting channel, wherein the contacting channel extends into the axial direction of the monolithic metal tube, and wherein the contacting channel makes at least a partial turn around the center axis of the monolithic metal tube. The invention further relates to a medical device comprising the ring electrode and to a process for preparing the ring electrode.
