Abstract

The present invention relates to a system and computer-implemented method for improving the efficiency and security in dynamic adaptation of an automotive application in a vehicle. The system comprises a Backend comprising a generalized federated model fFL deployed thereon. The system comprises a plurality of vehicles. Each vehicle is operable to receive and deploy the generalized federated model fFL in a first computational unit and to deploy a personalized model fk in a second computational unit. Each vehicle comprises a decision unit that is operable to locally decide, for a prediction ŷ of the automotive application, which of the generalized federated model fFL and the personalized model fk to use and to calculate the prediction ŷ using the decided model. Based on the calculated prediction ŷ, each vehicle is operable to adapt the the automotive application.
