Abstract

The invention describes a decision module (22) for image-based operational decision support, comprising a decision engine (23) that is designed for generating output-data (OD) based on a determined number of clinical findings (F) in medical images of a patient, wherein the decision module (22) is designed to generate decision data (DD) depending on position-data (PD) defining an actual position (L) of the patient in a predefined clinical guideline (G) comprising a set of possible next steps (S1, S2, S3) subsequent to the actual position (L), and wherein the decision data (DD) comprises an information indicating which next steps (S1, S2, S3) from the set of possible next steps (S1, S2, S3) of the clinical guideline (G) should be performed.The invention further describes a related method, a clinical decision system and a related medical imaging system.
