Abstract

A subsea fibre termination unit (10) for subsea termination of a fibre optic cable (3). The subsea fibre termination unit (10) comprises a first frame (20) attachable to a subsea foundation (30), a second frame (40) with a subsea communication connection interface (43), a fibre termination terminal (28) connectable to a proximal end (3a) of a fibre optic cable (3). The second frame (40) is pivotably connected to the first frame (20) thereby defining a pivoting axis (PA).
