Abstract
Method for providing access to the interior of a hollow blade (6, 13) of a wind turbine (1), wherein the blade (6), 13) is attached to a rotatable hub (5) of the wind turbine (1), wherein the interior (10) of the blade (6) is accessible from the hub (5) through a manhole (14) in a base plate (12) at a root-side end section (8) of the blade (6, 13), comprising the steps of: - Arranging the blade (6, 13) in a first position, in which the manhole (14) is accessible to a worker from a stand surface (18) in the interior of the hub (5), wherein the stand surface (18) remains stationary during rotation of the hub (5), - Mounting a ladder support assembly (19) to the base plate (12) at or in the vicinity of at least one edge section of the manhole (14), - Arranging the blade (6, 13) in a second position by rotating the hub (5), wherein a distance between the manhole (14) and the stand surface (18) is larger than in the first position, and - Mounting at least one ladder (30, 34) to the ladder support assembly (19) for accessing the interior of the blade (6, 13).
