Abstract

A vehicle exterior display device (1) includes: an own vehicle position information acquisition unit (32) that acquires position information regarding an own vehicle (V); a crosswalk position information acquisition unit (33) that acquires position information regarding a crosswalk (200); a surrounding information detection unit (34) that detects a pedestrian (100) existing around the own vehicle (V); a display unit (20) that has a display region (E) visually recognizable from the outside of the own vehicle (V) and is capable of changing a relative position between the display region (E) and the own vehicle (V); and a display controller (35) that changes display information (M) displayed by the display unit (20) and changes the display region (E) in which the display information (M) is displayed, based on a positional relationship among the own vehicle (V), the crosswalk (200), and the pedestrian (100).
