Abstract

A method for indirect measurement of information on a topological invariant of a material via an ensemble of neural networks and a training method of said ensemble of neural networks. The method for measuring starts with measuring local density of states, and optionally non-local transport characteristics. Then said measurements are propagated through the ensemble (also called committee) of neural networks. Afterwards a collective prediction of the information on the topological invariant depending on at least a plurality of the prediction vectors of the ensemble of neural networks is carried out. The training is carried out by using a variety of different numerical models to obtain training data. Subsequently, the ensemble is trained on said training data.
