Abstract
A technology for suppressing an increase in power consumption in alarms in a multihop network is provided. An n+3th fire alarm 600n+3 derives a first cost for a first relay route for communicating with a relay device 700 via an n+1th fire alarm 600n+1 and derives a second cost for a second relay route for communicating with the relay device 700 via an n+2th alarm 600n+2. The n+3th fire alarm 600n+3 selects the first relay route preferentially when the first cost is smaller than the second cost. When power consumption in the n+1th fire alarm 600n+1 grows larger than a threshold value, the n+1th fire alarm 600n+1 transmits a notification to the n+3th alarm 600n+3, and, when the n+3th fire alarm 600n+3 receives the notification from the n+1th fire alarm 600n+1, the n+3th fire alarm 600n+3 makes it less likely that the first relay route is selected.
