Abstract
Proposed are a UWB device and a control method thereof. A processor performs ranging together with a mobile device on basis of a set reception window. When the ranging performed by the processor fails, the processor counts a standby counter. When the ranging performed by the processor succeeds, the processor clears the standby counter. The processor compares the standby counter with a maximum standby count, and repeats the ranging or enters a sleep mode.
