Abstract

A device for supporting a plurality of medical containers comprises a plate having upper and lower surfaces and a sidewall defining a plate perimeter and extending between the upper and lower surface. The sidewall comprises four edges intersecting at corners. A longitudinal axis of the plate extends perpendicular to the upper surface. The plate defines a plurality of openings extending through the plate from the upper to lower surface. Each opening is configured to retain a medical container therein. The plate is dimensioned to be disposed in a packaging such that a distance measured between opposing edges of the sidewall is less than a distance measured between opposing sidewalls of an interior surface of the packaging. The device further comprises at least two positioning elements coupled at a first end thereof to the plate. Each positioning element has a second end detached from the plate.
