Abstract

Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer program products for improved handling of cross-link interference on physical random access channel occasions on flexible or full duplexing slots are provided. For example, a method can include providing a plurality of random access channel configurations to a user equipment. A first random access channel configuration of the plurality of random access channel configurations can be for a fist set of symbols or slots and a second random access channel configuration of the plurality of random access channel configurations can be for a second set of symbols or slots. The method can also include providing, to the user equipment, one or more parameters configured to steer the user equipment to select between the first set of symbols or slots or the second set of symbols or slots to be used when performing a random access transmission. The method can further include receiving a random access transmission on the selected set of symbols or slots based on one of the plurality of random access channel configurations.
