Abstract

A wall assembly for providing access to an aircraft passenger suite (102) from an aisle area is disclosed. The wall assembly includes a base. The wall assembly includes a wall (108) operationally coupled to the base and slidable with respect to the base between an open position and a closed position, the wall configured to be linearly slidable along a forward direction between the open position and the closed position. The wall assembly includes a dual latch system configured to selectively prevent a movement of the wall absent a simultaneous operation of multiple latches, the dual latch system comprising an upper latch; and a lower latch. The dual latch system configured to allow for the movement of the wall when the dual latch system is in an operated state but not necessarily in the unoperated state.
