Abstract

This armrest (50) for a side panel of a vehicle comprises a bracket (60), configured to be fixed onto the side panel, a support portion (70), with an upper wall (74) providing an arm-resting area to a user of the vehicle, and a mechanism, configured to adjust in height the support portion (70) relatively to the bracket (60) along a height axis (Z10).For a simpler construction and ease of operation, the mechanism comprises a notched portion (66), which is configured to cooperate with a complementary organ (82) in an engaged configuration, where height adjustment movements of the support portion (70) relative to the bracket (60) are prevented. The complementary organ is linked to a flexible zone (76), which is elastically deformed by hand by a user between a relaxed configuration, where the complementary organ is in the engaged configuration, and a deformed configuration, where the complementary organ is not engaged with the notched portion.
