Abstract

A weeding unit (4a, 4b) for treating an agricultural field (9) includes a carrier (10), at least one working lever (15a, 15b) moveably connected with the carrier (10), at least one actuator (11, 12) for moving the at least one working lever (15a, 15b) and a control unit (14). The control unit (14) is configured to distinguish crop (7) from weed (8) and to control the at least one actuator (11, 12) for treating the weed (8). The at least one working lever (15a, 15b) includes a weeding knife (18, 27) and at least one harrowing tine (26, 35). The agricultural field (9) may be treated according to a method.
