Abstract

A method (800) for assessing a sealing (200, 202) of a carton package (114) arranged to hold a food product (FP) is disclosed. The sealing (200, 202) is produced by using ultrasonic sealing technology. The method comprisescapturing (802) an image data set (500) depicting the sealing (200, 202), wherein the image data set (500) comprises a first data sub-set (600) associated with a first color channel and a second data sub-set (602) associated with a second color channel,identifying (804) an adherence section (702a, 702b) by using the first data sub-set (600), andidentifying (806) a non-adherence section (704) by using the second data sub-set (602).
