Abstract

The present disclosure provides a container for holding an aqueous solution comprising ammonia, comprising a main ventilation line at the apex of the container and a hatch, wherein the container comprises a secondary ventilation line fluidly connecting the hatch to the main ventilation line. The present disclosure also provides a method for increasing the safety of a container configured for holding an aqueous solution comprising ammonia, and a method for reducing the fire hazard in a container configured for holding an aqueous solution comprising ammonia.
