Abstract

An electrophoresis device (1) (analysis system) is an electrophoresis device (1) that electrophoreses a sample in a capillary (4) by applying a voltage to a pair of electrodes (6 and 8) in a microchip (2) (analysis tool) provided with the pair of electrodes (6 and 8) at both ends of the capillary (4). The electrophoresis device (1) includes: an installation unit (12) installing the microchip (2), a first terminal (22) and a second terminal (24) respectively in contact with one and the other of the pair of electrodes (6 and 8) of the microchip (2) installed in the installation unit (12), a power supply device (20) (voltage application unit) connected to the first terminal (22) and the second terminal (24) and applying a voltage in the capillary (4), and a terminal rotation unit (14) (changing unit) changing a combination of electrical connections between the pair of electrodes (6 and 8), and the first terminal (22) and the second terminal (24).
