Abstract

An outdoor tool (100) and a lubrication system for an outdoor tool (100) are provided. A tool (100) includes a powerhead (120), a tool (100) unit powered by the powerhead (120), and a lubrication system. The lubrication system includes a reservoir (130), a pump (126), and a check valve (136). The lubrication system is configured to transport a lubricant (132) from the reservoir (130) to an output that is configured to supply the lubricant (132) to the tool (100) unit. The check valve (136) is a separate component from the pump (126) and the reservoir (130) and is spaced apart from the pump (126) and the reservoir (130).
