Abstract

A warp sizing apparatus (1) including a sizing tank (3); a first roll (11) on which a warp sheet (T) can be; a second roll provided on a rear side with respect to the first roll; a sizing liquid supply device (20): and a plate-shaped receiving part (30) provided to cover a presence range of the second roll (13), including: an upward-facing receiving surface (32a); and a collection part (40) configured to collect the sizing liquid (S). The receiving part (30) is provided to be in contact with the end wall on the rear side of the sizing tank at a front end of the receiving surface (32a), and has such a size that a rear end of the receiving surface (32a) is located behind the second roll (13). The receiving surface (32a) is configured to be inclined downward toward the collection part (40).
