Abstract

A centerbody assembly (48) includes a center tube (56), a forward bulkhead (58), an aft bulkhead (60), at least one baffle (64), and an outer skin (52). The center tube (56) extends circumferentially about an axial centerline (34). The center tube (56) extends between and to a first axial tube end (88) and a second axial tube end (90). The forward bulkhead (58) is mounted to the center tube (56) at the first axial tube end (88). The aft bulkhead (60) is mounted to the center tube (56) at the second axial tube end (90). The at least one baffle (64) extends axially from the forward bulkhead (58) to the aft bulkhead (60). At least the forward bulkhead (58), the aft bulkhead (60), or the at least one baffle (64) include one or more thermal beads (112, 142). The outer skin (52) circumscribes the center tube (56), the forward bulkhead (58), the aft bulkhead (60), and the at least one baffle (64) to form an acoustic cavity (66) radially inside the outer skin (52).
