Abstract
A laundry liquid composition comprising an alcohol ethoxylate of formula R-O-(CH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>O)q-H where q is the mole average degree of ethoxylation of the total alcohol ethoxylate, said alcohol ethoxylate comprising greater than 70 wt.% of the total alcohol ethoxylate in the range R-O-(CH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>x</sub>-H to R-O-(CH<sub>2</sub>CH<sub>2</sub>O)<sub>y</sub>-H and where x=q-q/2 and y=q+q/2, R is C12-15 alkyl and wherein the pH of the composition is from 4.5 to 6.8.
