Abstract

A defibrillator (1) for assessing a likelihood of patient refibrillation, comprises an ECG signal input (3) configured to receive ECG signals of the patient, an ECG analysis system (5), in communication with the ECG signal input (3), configured to receive the patient ECG signals, analyse the patient ECG signals to generate an ECG refibrillation indicator representing a likelihood of refibrillation of the patient and use the ECG refibrillation indicator to choose treatment for the patient.
