Abstract

Provided is a hand-propelled working machine including a body; a traveling wheel group including wheels; a motor including a motor shaft for driving wheels to rotate; a controller; a transmission mechanism for implementing transmission between the motor shaft and the wheels and having a first state and a second state, where when the transmission mechanism is in the second state, the wheels are rotatable freely relative to the motor shaft; and an operation member operated to have at least a first operation state for controlling the motor to start and a second operation state for controlling the motor to stop; where when the operation member is switched from the first operation state to the second operation state, a target rotational speed of the motor is set to a first rotational speed so that the transmission mechanism is switched from the first state to the second state, where the first rotational speed is a negative rotational speed. The negative rotational speed is applied to the motor, achieving the shutdown and trip of the motor and a clutch and high trip reliability.
