Abstract

A liquid discharge head (1) includes a nozzle plate (3), a first housing (21), a valve body (5), and a second housing (22). The nozzle plate (3) has a nozzle (13) from which a liquid is dischargeable. The first housing (21) has a first face fixed to the nozzle plate (3) and a liquid chamber (11) to supply the liquid to the nozzle (13). The valve body (5) is movable between a liquid supply position and a liquid block position in a valve moving direction. The second housing (22) is disposed over a second face of the first housing (21) opposite to the first face in the valve moving direction. The second housing (22) is deformable relative to the first housing (21). The second housing (22) includes a fixing portion (24) to be secured to a support (15) of a liquid discharge apparatus (500) to support the liquid discharge head (1).
