Abstract

The disclosure relates to a brake system component (26) for a vehicle. The brake system component (26) comprises a channel (28) for guiding a brake fluid (BF) and a sample outlet module (32) for withdrawing a brake fluid sample from the channel (28). The sample outlet module (32) is fluidically connected to the channel (28). Moreover, the sample outlet module (32) comprises a non-return valve (38) having a blocking direction being directed towards an environment of the sample outlet module (32). The sample outlet module (32) also comprises a thrust piece (40) for selectively opening the non-return valve (38). Additionally, a testing system for assessing a quality parameter of the brake fluid (BF) is explained. The testing system comprises the brake system component (26) and a test device (58). Furthermore, a test device (58) is presented. Moreover, a vehicle comprising a brake system having such a brake system component (26) is shown. Also a method for assessing a quality parameter of a brake fluid (BF) is described.
