Abstract
A device (100) for creating a backpressure in a fluid line (160) configured to convey a food product (F) containing particles (P). The device comprises a first channel (110) for conveying the product in a first direction (D1), and a second channel (120) in fluid communication with the first channel (110) for receiving and thereafter returning a part (F2) of the product. A filtering section (130) is arranged at an inlet (122) of the second channel (120) for letting through said part of the product into the second channel while blocking particles. A flow redirecting section (140) is arranged at an outlet (124) of the second channel for redirecting said part of the product in a second direction (D2) when said part is returned to the first channel, wherein the second direction is at least partially opposite to the first direction for creating the backpressure in the fluid line.
