Abstract
The invention relates to a method for computer-implemented monitoring of a wind turbine having a rotor with rotor blades (10). The rotor blades (10) are provided with an active flow control device (11D, 12D, 14D). During the operation of the wind turbine the following steps are performed: i) obtaining digital operation data (OD) of the wind turbine, the operation data (OD) being current sensor data (WTSD) taken by a plurality of sensors installed on the wind turbine and a control signal (AFCD CS) for controlling the active flow control device (11D, 12D, 14D) to adopt a specific state; ii) determining an estimate (ECLI) of the state and/or performance degradation of the active flow control device (11D, 12D, 14D) by processing the operation data (OD) by a trained data driven model (DDM), where the operation data (OD) are fed as a digital input to the trained data driven model (DDM) and the trained data driven model (DDM) provides the estimate (ECLI) of the state and/or performance degradation of the active flow control device (11D, 12D, 14D) as a digital output.
