Abstract

The disclosure relates to a rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle (18). The rearview mirror assembly (18) comprises a base part (20) having a mounting interface (22) for rigidly attaching the base part (20) to a structural component of the vehicle. Moreover, the rearview mirror assembly (18) comprises a mirror part (24) carrying a reflective surface (26). Additionally, the rearview mirror assembly (18) comprises a housing part (28) covering at least a part of one side of the mirror part (24). The mirror part (24) is rigidly attached to the housing part (28) and the housing part (28) is movably coupled to the base part (20), such that an orientation of the mirror part (24) is adjustable. A camera unit (34) is attached to the base part (24). Furthermore, a vehicle comprising a structural component and such a rearview mirror assembly (18) is presented. The rearview mirror assembly (18) is rigidly attached to the structural component of the vehicle.
