Abstract

A data processing apparatus comprising circuitry configured to: receive a signal indicating a simulated cardiogram of a character in a video game, the simulated cardiogram being generated using one or more attributes of the character; determine one or more heart rate variability, HRV, parameters of the character using the simulated cardiogram; and control an occurrence in the video game using the one or more HRV parameters.
