Abstract

There is disclosed a blank (100) for forming a package (200), the blank (100) comprising: a bottom panel (102); a front wall panel (104); two set of side wall panels (106, 107); a rear wall panel (108); a first lid panel (109a), a second lid panel (109b); and a locking flap (111) configured to be inserted into a recess (121), when the blank (100) has been folded into the package (200), and an opening action by folding the first and second lid panels (109a, 109b) about a first longitudinal side (LSR1) of the rear wall panel (108) is initiated, a locking tongue (111b) of the locking flap (111) interacts with an inner surface (106ci) of the intermediate side wall panel (106c) in a vicinity of the recess (121), and, when an opening action by folding the second lid panel (109b) about an internal fold line (110) is initiated, the folding of the second lid panel (109b) about the internal fold line (110) releases the locking tongue (111b) from the recess (121). The is also disclosed a package (200) formed from such a blank (100).
