Abstract
A speed reducer (10) includes a carrier (30), a shaft (50) rotatably supported by the carrier (30), an external gear (40) supported by the shaft (50) and eccentrically oscillating with respect to the carrier (30) by rotation of the shaft (50), and an annular spacer (60) situated between the external gear (40) and the carrier (30). The spacer (60) rotates while contacting the external gear (40) and carrier (30).
