Abstract

Disclosed is a positioning device (100) comprising a plate (110) having a first side and a second side opposite to the first side, a guiding pin (121) mounted to the plate (110) and extending perpendicularly from the first side of the plate (110), and an expendable pin (122) mounted to the plate (110), wherein an expendable portion (124) of the expendable pin (122) extends perpendicularly from the first side of the plate (110). The positioning device (100) further comprises at least two reflectors (131), and an identifier (133), wherein the at least two reflectors (131) and the identifier (133) are not located on a common straight line. Furthermore, a method for mounting two structural parts (51, 52) to one another using such positioning device (100) is disclosed.
