Abstract

A light source device of the present disclosure includes a light emitting element, a light guide member, a supporting member, and a pressing member. The light guide member has a first face and a second face located at sides opposite to each other on a first axis of the light guide member, a third face and a fourth face located at sides opposite to each other on a second axis crossing the first axis, and a fifth face and a sixth face located at sides opposite to each other on a third axis crossing the first axis and the second axis. The first face outputs a light guided through the light guide member, the light emitting element is provided to face the third face, and the groove portion has a supporting surface facing the fourth face. The pressing member has a first extension portion extending in a direction closer to a direction along the third axis than a direction along the first axis, and contacting the third face, a pair of second extension portions extending in a direction closer to a direction along the first axis than a direction along the third axis, and having one ends coupled to the first extension portion and the other ends fixed to the supporting member, and elastically deforms in a direction crossing a principal surface of the supporting surface to urge the third face.
