Abstract
A low temperature storage medical container is provided. The low temperature storage medical container includes a barrel including an inner surface and a stopper in gliding arrangement with at least a portion of the inner surface of the barrel. At least one of the inner surface of the barrel and the stopper are at least partially coated with a lubricant composition, the lubricant composition including at least one of a compound of Formula (I), a compound of Formula (II), or combinations thereof. A method of reducing crystallization of a lubricant coating on a low temperature storage medical container during freezing and thawing is also provided.
