Abstract

A cleaning mechanism for a smart air ionizer is provided. The cleaning mechanism includes an electrode configured with a plurality of carbon bristles (628) exposed to an airflow and configured to ionize air in the airflow via the plurality of carbon bristles (628), a vibration mechanism, and a controller circuit coupled to the vibration mechanism, the controller circuit including a controller configured to operate the vibration mechanism to clean the plurality of carbon bristles (628).
