Abstract
Method for repairing a roller main bearing (1) of a wind turbine, wherein the bearing (1) comprises an inner ring (6) having a U-shaped cross section, which inner ring (6) comprises two radial outward facing shoulders (7, 8) and two inner raceways (10, 11) in a V-arrangement, and outer ring (2) arranged concentrical with the inner ring (6) and engaging in the inner ring (6), which outer ring (2) comprises two inner raceways (4, 5) in a V-arrangement, and several rollers (13, 14) arranged in a space (12) between the inner and the outer ring (2, 6) rolling on the respective raceways (4, 5, 10, 11), comprising the steps:- opening an aperture (23) providing access into the space (12) between both rings (2, 6) in which area the rollers (13, 14) are arranged,- removing a roller (13, 14) through the aperture (23),- closing the aperture (23) again.
