Abstract

Examples relate to an apparatus, method and computer program for determining a location of a key device relative to a vehicle, and to a method and computer program for determining normalization factors for pre-processing UWB measurement information. The apparatus (10) for determining a location of a key device (20) relative to a vehicle (100) is configured to obtain UWB measurement information being indicative of a distance between the key device and at least one UWB transceiver (102) of the vehicle, pre-process the UWB measurement information to obtain normalized UWB measurement information, process, using a machine-learning model being trained to determine the location of the key device based on the normalized UWB measurement information, the normalized UWB measurement information, and determine the location of the key device based on an output of the machine-learning model.
