Abstract

An information processing apparatus (101, Fig. 1) connected to a server (103, Fig. 1) that provides a cloud printing service has a communication unit (205, Fig. 2) for communicating with a connected external apparatus, and a controller (301, Fig. 3). The controller (301, Fig. 3) specifies an image forming apparatus that satisfies a predetermined condition from among a plurality of image forming apparatuses that have already been installed on the information processing apparatus when installing a cloud printer driver that generates a print job to be transmitted to the server (S603 to S609), and sets configuration information of a printer driver of the specified image forming apparatus as configuration information of the cloud printer driver (S610).
