Abstract
A printing apparatus (100) comprises: an obtaining unit (107) configured to obtain color information indicating a color of a sheet (111) to be used in printing from a scan image of the sheet (111); and an image forming unit (103,102) configured to print, based on the color information, a background for a predetermined pattern to be formed on the sheet (111) and then print the predetermined pattern on the sheet (111).
