Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a high pressure water supply system (1000) for an aircraft (1). The system comprises a main water supply tank (50), a plurality of water consumers (100), a plurality of pressurisation units (60) configured to convey water from the main water supply tank (50) to the plurality of water consumers (100), and a control unit (80). One pressurisation unit (61) of the plurality of pressurisation units (60) conveys water to a first subset (101, 105) of water consumers of the plurality of water consumers (100) via a corresponding high pressure water supply line (71), and the control unit (80) is configured to control an output pressure of said one pressurisation unit (61) depending on a hydraulic resistance length of the high pressure water supply line (71).
